The artist combines their works with an effort of interpretation that portrays them as blurry, fragmented, and layered, seemingly insignificant in memory but triggering certain moments. In contrast to grand narratives, they examine the state of being inconspicuous, ordinary, and devoid of stories. They focus on what is remembered in the present, departing from the simplicity of the past in memory. The artist poses the question to the audience, “What illusion does the past find when produced within the present?” In “The Narrative of the Thing,” the artist issues a call to escape from the precise and definite towards memories, reality, and sensory recollections. This pool of pieces, avoiding a definitive statement, brings forth numerous ambiguous narratives.

Sanatçı eserlerini flu, parçalı ve katmanlaşma halleriyle hafızada önemsizmiş gibi görünen, bazı anları tetikleyen bir anlamlandırma çabasıyla birleşiyor. Büyük anlatıların aksine önemsiz, sıradan, hikâyesiz olma durumunu inceliyor. Geçmişin bellekte yalınlıktan uzak, “şimdi”de anımsananın ne olduğuna yöneliyor. İzleyiciye “Geçmiş, şimdi içinde üretildiğinde nasıl bir yanılsama bulur?” sorusunu soruyor. Şeyin Anlatısı’nda sanatçı, kesin ve net olandan bir kaçışa hatıralarıyla, gerçeklik ile duyusal anımsamalara çağrıda bulunuyor. Kesin bir bildirimden kaçınan bu parçalar havuzu sayısız flu kurguyu da beraberinde getiriyor.
